Her reputation as a pioneering performance artist and filmmaker is international -- yet she has always been an innovative painter and this work has more lately become known through gallery and museum exhibitions. This well-illustrated publication presents in one volume the catalogues to Schneemann's two Hutchinson Gallery shows, covering work from 1960-1982.
